Peter Ambrosiussen is an authorised financial advisor who brings a wealth of financial, accounting and business skills gained over a long career. One of Peter’s core values is listening to people to understand their situation and making financial matters easy to understand.

Peter’s experience initially covered a broad range of financial areas in an international shipping company in Sydney, culminating in being the CFO. 

This followed a move to Toowoomba where Peter started an accounting practice, that focused on getting alongside business owners to help them navigate growing a strong financially sound business. 

This concern for business owners' personal financial strength and future led Peter to become an authorised financial advisor. Peter continues to do this following the sale of his interest in the accounting practice he started. 

Peter’s strength lies in the way he sees each person’s situation as unique. He takes the time to listen carefully, understand what matters most, and shape advice around individual needs. 

This personal approach, combined with his ability to think outside the box, helps him find thoughtful solutions that lead to the best possible outcomes. 

Peter’s clear and insightful views on financial matters were recognised by the editors of the Toowoomba Chronicle where Peter wrote a fortnightly Saturday column for 17 years. Peter has a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Economics and History, a Master of Commerce degree and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.

Peter is married to Viv, and they have seven children and ten grandchildren. Peter loves getting away into backroads and tracks on a Friday afternoon on his mountain bike exploring the beautiful views from the hills and valleys to the north of Toowoomba. Peter serves as an elder and in numerous other capacities at Christlife Presbyterian church. Peter’s approach is grounded in respect and a genuine care for the people he serves. He values building strong relationships and helping clients feel informed and supported.

Originally from Canada, Jennifer Morris now proudly calls Mackay home after spending 10 years living and working in Toowoomba with her family.

Married with two sons aged 16 and 12, Jennifer values strong relationships, community, and helping others achieve their goals both personally and professionally.

Jennifer built a successful career over more than a decade with Ambrosiussen The Business Accountants, where she worked as Practice Manager and played a key role in the firm’s growth and day-to-day operations. Her extensive experience in business operations, client relationships, and strategic management created a strong foundation for her transition into the financial planning industry.

Today, Jennifer is part of Ambrosiussen Holistic Advisors, where she combines her business expertise with a genuine passion for helping clients navigate their financial future with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time fishing, relaxing at the beach, training in Muay Thai, and making memories with friends and family. Her down-to-earth nature, active lifestyle, and strong focus on connection are reflected in the way she approaches both life and client relationships.
